About me…

My name is Guillermo Miguel Perez-Santalla and this blog is about my view of the world.

I currently am a managing director of The Wyoming Reserve Opportunity Zone Fund Corporation which is a physical precious metals investment and vaulting company. Its principal place of business is Casper, Wyoming. We have been fully operational since December 2024, though we only got the company off the ground in June of 2023. Our goal is to become an integral part of the solution to help expand access to the precious metals market, helping it to be more liquid throughout the country.

I am past president of the International Precious Metals Institute where I have also frequently made presentations. Currently, I still serve on the boards of both IPMI and the Metro New York Chapter. I have also presented at the Museum of American Finance and the US Geological Survey. I have been on CNBC and been quoted by media such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and Reuters. I had been blogging for many years my thoughts about the precious metals markets and then switched to mostly about the joys and struggles of life.

I love my family, friends, life and people. It is a pleasure every day to see the wonders that fill this world. I enjoy the luxuries in life, but I don’t need them to be happy. I have a Franciscan view of life and prefer the company of others to watching television or movies. I exercise regularly and wish there were a way I could eat without gaining weight so easily. I know the precious metals market in which I work in and enjoy the industry very much. I hope that the little I share on my blog may just bring a smile to someone’s face or make them think a little more deeply about the issues of the day.
