About me…

My name is Guillermo Miguel Perez-Santalla and this blog is about my view of the world.

I work for  Heraeus Metals New York, a multinational precious metals company with over 13,000 employees worldwide.

I have presented frequently at the International Precious Metals Institute’s annual conference. I have also presented at the Silver Users Association and the US Geological Survey. I have been quoted by media such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and Reuters.

I am currently a vice president of the International Precious Metals Institute and board member of the Metro New York Chapter. I have been blogging for many years my thoughts about the precious metals markets and life.

I love my family, friends, life and people. It is a pleasure every day to see the wonders that fill this world. I enjoy the luxuries  in life, but I don’t need them to be happy. I have a Franciscan view of life and prefer the company of others to watching television or movies. I exercise regularly and wish there were a way I could eat without gaining weight so easily. I know the precious metals market in which I work in and enjoy the industry very much. I hope that the little I write may just bring a smile to someone’s face or make them think a little more deeply about the issues of the day.
